Tanya + Jon Engagement Session at The Adams Estate | Tampa Wedding Photographer

By looking at this adorable couple, it’s easy to see that this is a union simply meant to be.

Tanya and Jon chose the backdrop of The Adams Estate in Lake Alfred for this inspiring engagement shoot. The sun was on our side that day, casting a golden glow over the couple as they shared tender embraces in front of the regal estate. The wind, however, was less cooperative and sent Tanya’s vibrant red fabric flowing in all directions. Always a bundle of joy, Jon couldn’t help himself and enjoyed a hearty laugh at his future bride’s playful predicament.

Though the Adams Estate wasn’t their first choice for their wedding venue, Tanya and Jon were captivated by the Central Floridian structure and its sprawling grounds. Because of the venue change, this was our second session together. The couple wanted engagement photos taken where the big day would unfold. Quite frankly, I’d have been delighted to photograph them a third time had they needed.

Tanya is quite the schemer. As we toured the well-manicured property, she kept trying to find ways to sneak in alcohol. I can’t say that I blame her, as getting to this point hasn’t been easy. On top of complications caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Tanya also faced a florist that skipped out on all of his clients. Thankfully, Stephanie Voth stepped in to provide the gorgeous floral arrangements for their wedding.

The two wed on January 16, 2021 amongst friends and family.
