Mr and Mrs Winn.
Where do I even begin?! Aaron and Lynsey reached out when they got engaged, and I instantly had such a good connection with these two. Aaron and Lynsey met through Instagram, the modern love story! Lynsey is an RN, and Aaron is in the coast guard, so when the pandemic reared its ugly head, I was a little worried for their big day! Not only did they not let it get them down, they overcame planning and traveling obstacles with optimism. I mean, if the airlines told me I had to crumple my Hailey Paige dress under the plane I would’ve cried, but not Lynsey!
The day was beyond beautiful, the second we walked into the getting ready room, the bridesmaids were upbeat and so pumped for the day! While Ashlee Ann worked her magic with hair and makeup, the creative team got started on details! Lynsey’s ring is STUNNING! When we saw this painting hanging in the resort, we instantly knew her dress would hang there for a photo! A ladies champagne pop, and we were off!
Now, if you haven’t been to Harborside chapel, you need to plan that ASAP! Harborside is one of my favorite wedding venues, that I’ve had the privilege of photographing. From the bridal suite, to the gorgeous oversized windows in the chapel. Every detail was so carefully thought out, and planned!
The ceremony was a heartfelt one, fogging up my camera holding back tears. Aarons reaction to seeing Lynsey, will forever be one of my favorite moments! Lynsey looked absolutely gorgeous, her dress, bouquet, everything!
This amazing couple did have a request for formals! That was to recreate the same couple photos in both Aaron’s dress blues, and his grooms suit. Happy to accommodate, we had a blast recreating these!
The reception was hosted at the sand pearl resort in clearwater. So naturally we snuck out to the beach before reception to capture some romantic husband and wife portraits. After a few stops, for guests to fawn over Lynsey, we frolicked in the sand, and had a corona toast (fitting, right!)
Lynsey and Aaron, had a choreographed dance for their first dance and Mr. and Mrs. and let me tell you, if you’re considering this- DO IT! It was so beautiful! A couple fire toasts (literally! Aarons dads toast lit on fire!) and the dance floor was open! This group of guests, and bridal party, did not hold back! At the end of the night we wanted to trade our cameras in for invitations!
